Joint Medical Mission by Mabuhay Shrine Chapter &
Peninsula Lions Club Inc.

December 2004 we visited Barangay Pundaquit, San Antiono, Zambales Philippines and discovered that they had many children there that were crippled, burned and had other illnesses. We promised to do a medical mission there as soon as was possible. The mission area is a small resort and had been busy during the mid summer months until the rains came.
July 31 was set as the first medical mission there and was completed as scheduled. This was a joint mission with Peninsula Lions Club INC. We treated 273 children and about 100 adults. Unfortunately we had only two doctors and had to cut the mission short with a promise that we “will return”.
